Bird watching may not be the first thing that comes to your mind when think of things to do in Orlando, but there is no better place than Orlando and Kissimmee for bird watching. Discover an endless assortment of birds, including some of the rarest in North America…Florida scrub jay, Snail kite, Whooping crane, Crested caracara and Limpkin. Kissimmee has the largest Bald eagle populations in the continental United States. There are nine state-recognized Great Florida Birding Trail sites. Self-guided trails designed to conserve and enhance Florida’s bird habitat by promoting birdwatching activities, conservation education and economic opportunity.
