Fireworks at the Fountain 2016

On Monday, July 4, 2016, thousands of Central Florida residents and visitors will gather at Lake Eola Park for the 39th annual Fireworks at the Fountain.

Performance Schedule

Walt Disney Amphitheater
5 p.m. – Lucy Iris
8 p.m. – Orlando Concert Band
9 p.m. – Mayor Buddy Dyer
9:10 p.m. – Fireworks Display

Local rock musicians will perform on the 98.9 WMMO Stage starting at 5 p.m.

Parking

Ample parking is available within walking distance of Lake Eola Park. A list of surface lots and garages can be found here.

Please be aware that multiple road closures will be in effect. View the Road Closure Map for more information.

Handicapped parking will be available on Rosalind Avenue between Jackson Street and Central Boulevard for the event. Please approach the road closure and show the police officer your handicapped designation for parking.

Public Transportation

The free LYMMO circulator is recommended for Downtown residents and attendees parking at garages other than the Orange County Library Garage, located at 112 East Central Boulevard.

LYNX will be running on a normal Sunday service schedule for the holiday. Click here for more information on using LYNX and LYMMO to access Downtown.

There are plenty of 4th of July celebrations this year in and around Orlando. The hardest part will be deciding which events to attend. Take a look at your options and Happy 4th!!

July 4: Mount Dora 4th of July celebration, Mount Dora. Independence Day celebration with a parade on Donnelly Street, live music and fireworks at Gilbert Park. Sponsored by the Rotary Club. Free. 352-383-2165. www.mountdora.com/events.php

July 4: Fourth of July celebration, Leesburg. Celebrate the Fourth of July at the Venetian Gardens in Leesburg. The event will include fireworks, live entertainment and games. Festivities start at 6 p.m. Admission is free. 352-728-9721. www.leesburgpartnership.com/

July 4: It’s a Grand Old Flag, Tavares. Independence Day celebration at Wooton Park with parade and fireworks. Festivities start at 3 p.m. Admission is free. 352-742-6319. www.tavares.org/

July 3 and 4: Red, White and Brew, Orlando. Celebrate our country’s independence at the Wall Street Plaza in downtown Orlando. The party starts at 9 p.m. on July 3 with a block party and live music. July 4: Rockin’ Fourth of July Celebration, Disney’s Hollywood Studios. A disc jockey will kick off this music-filled evening at 6 p.m. at the sorcerer’s hat. All week: Red, White and Blue Extravaganza, Disney’s Magic Kingdom. This weeklong event features a patriotic-themed parade plus food. Festivities run from July 1 to July 7. July 3: Old-Fashioned July Fourth Celebration, Winter Park. Beautiful Central Park downtown is the site of this lively festival featuring patriotic music, a parade, hot-dog-eating contest and other activities for the whole family. July 4: Thunder on the Ridge, Haines City. This daylong event at Lake Eva Park features live music, food and children’s activities, as well as the county’s largest fireworks show on Lake Eva. Seminole County

July 3: Red Hot and Boom, Altamonte Springs. Popular festival that includes live music from nationally and internationally known entertainers, as well as an awesome fireworks display and food-beverage booths.
