April 21st, 2010 by tisner
Travel back to prehistoric times right in Orlando with the Dino Digs exhibit at the Orlando Science Center. The exhibit allows you to become part of a paleontological excavation site. You will be able to dig for ‘fossils’ in the dig pit and examine fossilized dino eggs. This exhibit also allows you to compare reptiles and dinosaurs so you can see their similarities and differences.

This is a great activity for Orlando families, the Science Center encourages learning in a fun way.

March 19th, 2010 by tisner

When you think of things to do in Orlando, you probably think of outdoor activities. On the rare occasion when it rains the Orlando Science Center is a perfect place to take the kids of all ages. The science center encourages learning in a fun way with educational activities, fun and learning all at the same time.

Some of the fun stuff to do is…Learn all about frogs in the Jewels of the Amazon exhibit. Meet the ancient rulers of our planet in the DinoDigs exhibit. Create your own discovery at Dr. Dare’s Lab. Learn about the magic of the Amazon on the giant I-max screen. Or experience any number of summer camps.

There’s no reason to let bad weather get you down while in Orlando!
