365 Orlando: 52. Swing Through the Tree Tops at Monkey Trunks

Spend the afternoon getting your heart pumping at the Orlando Adventure Course at Monkey Trunks. There are two exciting courses that offer over 35 unique aerial walkways. These walkways range from 15 feet to 50 feet in the air! The great thing about these courses is you will be able to move at your own pace and stay in the air your entire time. Once you are ready to get down you will have 3 different options, you can Zip, Swing or take the stairs.

The Exploration Course is a great way to start your adventure at only 15-feet above the ground with two different routes to choose from. Each course has it’s own different challenges including our 150-feet dueling zip lines! This course offers a saftey system designed to allow children from the ages of 5 and up to explore!

The other course is the Discovery Course is a three level structure that is a towering 55-feet in the sky! Once you ascend you will be able to choose your own pathways to create your own unique experience. This course boast two 600-foot zip lines and a 40-foot Giant’s Swing.

When you think of things to do in Orlando, you probably think of outdoor activities. On the rare occasion when it rains the Orlando Science Center is a perfect place to take the kids of all ages. The science center encourages learning in a fun way with educational activities, fun and learning all at the same time.

Some of the fun stuff to do is…Learn all about frogs in the Jewels of the Amazon exhibit. Meet the ancient rulers of our planet in the DinoDigs exhibit. Create your own discovery at Dr. Dare’s Lab. Learn about the magic of the Amazon on the giant I-max screen. Or experience any number of summer camps.

365 Orlando: 1. Magic Kingdom

This post starts the beginning of a series on 365 Things To Do Around Orlando.  We will be letting you know about  fun places for kids, young and old! Please jump in and comment on fun things you know about!

First in our series, is Orlando’s first major attraction, the Magic Kingdom. This theme park is one of four parks in Walt Disney World Resort and the place where fantasy is reality.

Discover the enchantment of fairy tales and the beloved Disney characters. Enjoy the fantastical boat ride through ‘It’s a Small World‘, soar to the sky with ‘Dumbo the Flying Elephant’, cruise down the river on a safari boat, take a whirl in a giant tea cup at the ‘Mad Tea Party‘ and Oh! so much more!!
