Come to The Valley, the Heart of Anguilla in the British West Indies

The Valley is the capital of Anguilla and its one and only town. It is on a main road, right at the center of the island. In 2001, there were somewhat over eleven hundred people living in the Valley. The Valley has many renovated West Indian-style cottages, some turned into stores.

The “lower valley” is considered the historic section. A wooden home, Miss Majorie Hodge’s Homestead is in the historic district as well as The Warden’s Place, the former home of British spies.
