Travel back to prehistoric times right in Orlando with the Dino Digs exhibit at the Orlando Science Center. The exhibit allows you to become part of a paleontological excavation site. You will be able to dig for ‘fossils’ in the dig pit and examine fossilized dino eggs. This exhibit also allows you to compare reptiles and dinosaurs so you can see their similarities and differences.
 

 

 This is a great activity for Orlando families, the Science Center encourages learning in a fun way.

365 Orlando: 37. Performance by Cirque du Soleil-La Nouba

Head on down to Downtown Disney in Orlando to live it up with the cast of Cirque du Soleil. They will be performing La Nouba which translates as “to party, to live it up”. You will be delighted and mystified by the daring acts of grace performed by the international cast of acrobats, athletes and performance artists.

A theater was built especially for Cirque du Soleil in Downtown Disney in Orlando. You can join the thousand of other fans of Cirque du Soleil who have been in awe when they leave this show. La Nouba will make you think that the impossible is possible.

 

This extraordinary avant-garde circus spectacle is a must see in Orlando.

Gatorland® is a one of a kind experience offered in the Orlando area. This is a 110-acre theme park and wildlife preserve. The northern section of Gatorland® is home to “Gator Lake” where the largest reptiles at the park live. You can see the alligators and crocodiles up close and personal from Alligator Island. Then hop on board the Express Railroad which will take you around the Jungle Crocs and the Breeding Marsh/Bird Rookery areas. The train stops at the South end of the park so you can grab a bite to eat at Pearl’s Smokehouse or catch a show at the Alligator Wrestling Stadium. You will also love the Swamp Walk where you can walk at your leisure through the unspoiled native Cypress Swamp. The kids will enjoy Allie’s Barnyard, the Very Merry Aviary and the Gator Gully Splash Park.

 

Gatorland® is located in South Orlando at the head of the Florida Everglades.

ripleysCome on over and explore the odditorium of Orlando, at Ripley’s Believe It or Not!® Museum. You will enjoy the self-guided experience that takes you through 16 galleries that pay tribute to the odd, bizarre and unbelievable.
 
Spend your time exploring the collections from Robert Ripley’s 40 years of adventures. His travels took him around the world in search of the unbelievable and inexplicable. You can explore at your own pace but the average visit time is one to two hours.
